Baked Apples with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar

  • Add the apple juice to the Crock-Pot® Express Multi-Cooker with the cinnamon stick.
  • In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and chopped pecans. Mix well.
  • Fill each apple with the sugar mixture and put one cube of butter on top.4. Sprinkle some granola on top of each apple.
  • Place the apples into the multi cooker making sure the apples are sitting on the steaming rack.
  • Place the lid onto the multi cooker. Set the steam valve to the “Seal” position.
  • Press the DESSERT setting and cook on LOW for 10 minutes. Release the steam and open the lid.
  • Transfer the apples to your serving dish and top with vanilla ice cream. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.





  • 4 large red honey crisp
    apples, cored
  • 140 ml unfiltered apple juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 90 g cup brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
